Invites and Raid Preparation

Using the calender is not optional. From this point forth if you cant take the 5 seconds to click accept or decline then dont expect to be invited to raid the invites will always be up at least a week in advance so there is no excuse. If you need to change your status you can also go back and do so and if you cant figure out how to at least mail the raid leader or an officer about the change in status.

Invites are at 7:30 you are expected to be online and on your main not engaged in an instance or some other activity when invites go out.
If you are going to be late you are expected to talk to the raid leader about it ahead of time if it is recurring or if they know in advance or have a means of communication they need to let the raid leader or an officer know.

After you are invited you are expected to get prepared for raid if you are not you should always be fully repaired have your food/flasks/reagents ready to go and be at the instance before 8 o clock. Do not sit in IF for 20 mins waiting for a summon. The quicker everyone is ready and in the instance the quicker we a can start raiding.

Self buffing with Flasks and food are required we provide these service cheaply for flasks and free for the food with fish feasts. we have mods we know when you dont self buff.

Raiding Etiquette


Realize that you are part of a community you have 9 to 24 other people besides you in this group and what you do and say and how you act effects everyone.

We raid until 12 midnight server time. You are expected to stay the full time unless the raid is called early or you obtain permission from the raid leader. People who frequently leave early are just wasting the raids time and so will eventually be replaced. If you disconnect with no word this is also unacceptable but we realize things happen (rarely) so 1 time per month you can disconnect and not return with no penalty the 2nd time you will be docked 250 ep and the 3rd time you will be docked 500 ep. If you disconnect that frequently without returning or letting us know you will also probably be replaced. People who join the raid knowing that they have to leave early and say nothing to an officer at the begining of the raid will be immediately docked 500 ep when they leave.

Th reasoning behind this is because we dont have many spare players replacing people takes alot of raid time and severely hampers the raid. You arent just gaining what you want you are effectively screwing 24 of your guildies if when you leave out of raid time if we can manage to replace you at all.

Questions, comments, and complaints not pertaining to the boss at hand are disruptive and frequently are of a nature that they lower the discipline/morale of the raid so anything not pertaining specifically to the instructions on the boss you have receive should be addressed to the raid leader or an officer in a tell and not in a public forum.
Also any sort of whining or drama is intolerable and should not be expressed even in a tell. If you have a legitimate thought that is constructive share it otherwise if it isnt worth other people knowing keep it to yourself.

The above especially applies to the cost of repairs reagents or how tired you are. If you cant afford to raid or manage to stay awake for the duration of a raid please let us know so we can find someone that will.
We are a guild and function as a community when you are missing from raid it affects more than just yourself so from this point forth people are allowed to miss a maximum of 3 raids without being replaced if you are missing any more than that you are only raiding 50% of the time anyways. We realize real life happens and things come up so always send a mail or leave a message with someone if at all possible and we can be flexible but atm raid attendence is far too sporatic. Also healers and tanks realize you are taking on an extra burden if your life cant support it then please let us know and you can go dps spec because we cant afford to have you miss any raid really much less 3.

There is a very very severe problem with a lack of caring for your character or a lack of desire to research your class or what gear you need in this guild. It is unacceptable the rest of the raid should not be required to carry deadweight and it is to the point where we will no longer be able to progess if we do. Raiding isnt about you as a single person its about a group of 10/25 people working together so please try learn what you need to do and how to do it. Ineptitude will only be tolerated to a certain extent the officers will work with you to a point and if you continue to drag the raid down then you will be replaced.
